Portobello Bride Real Wedding - Renee & Erol

Renee and Erol planned a simple, classic wedding in Melbourne. Adrian Tuazon Photography, a Portobello Bride favourite, captured their wedding in his contemporary story telling style, perfectly
Renee and Erol were destined to be together. They had crossed paths many times over the years, from from mixing in similar circles of friends, to living close by to one another. Renee was even invited to Erol's 21st through a mutual friend. It wasn't until they met at work  eight years later, they finally fell in love.
The proposal was poetic, romantic, and so thoughtful. During an evening at St Jerome's Lane Way Bar in Melbourne, Erol scratched  'Erol loves Renee' into the lane way. Over a year had past and the couple returned to take a photo of the 'artwork'. Little did Renee know what Erol had planned. On their arrival, Renee found a 'Renee will you marry me?' as Erol had organised for the bar owner to scratch it into the same area for him. The photograph was then used for their wedding invitation.
The Botanic Gardens was the perfect place for the wedding. Erol had surprised Renee with a picnic there for their 6 month anniversary, so it always held a very  special place in the couples hearts.
It was important to Renee and Erol that their ceremony not only reflect their love for one another but also the importance of their family in their lives. Renee and Erol's mothers did the beautiful "loving hands" ritual during the ceremony. Many of Erols family traveled from Cypress for the special occasion and witnessed a moving ceremony that incorporated both cultural back grounds.
The reception was held at The Terrace. I absolutely love the styling for the celebration, and the wedding cake made by Renee's bridesmaid, Sarah Pope, is simple and elegant.
Adrian Tuazon Photography captured these moments so beautifully, highlighting the love and joy the couple shared with their family and friends.

Thank you Renee and Erol for sharing your wedding day and love story with us. Adrian you have captured their wedding story perfectly, I am always excited to feature your work.
