Portobello Bride Featured Wedding: Jess & Bren by Jonas Peterson

Photographer and Portobello Bride favourite Jonas Peterson is, in this humble Editor's opinion, a master when it comes to photographic composition. You can't help but see his brilliance when looking at the photos he captured at the wedding of Jess and Bren in Sydney. These photos are not just like any run-of-the-mill wedding snaps. They are works of art and perfectly capture the unique spirit of Jess and Bren's big day!

Loving the stationery suite the couple chose for their wedding day.

Jess' stunning 20's inspired wedding dress.

Fun and simple decorations.

This moment is sure to bring a smile to any face - so precious!

For those who aren't sure about the traditional wedding cake, why not consider arranging cheese to look like a cake like Jess and Bren have done and serve with crackers and relish to finish off the meal!?

Love the composition on this one. It's almost as if the empty space around the couple is in a heart shape!

Congratulations to Jess and Bren. May your life together be filled with smiles and joy just as your wedding day was!

A big thank you to Jonas for allowing us to share his stunning images!

Portobello Bride Featured Wedding: Dani & Nick by NK Photography

When planning a wedding many brides are on the look out for something different from every other wedding. Something different is exactly what Dani and Nick created when they chose to have their ceremony take place on a boat! Now that is an experience your guests will never forget! We love the fact that they paired their unique ceremony with a special and intimate reception at Dani's family home. So sweet! Take a look at these amazing photos of the day from Portobello Bride member NK Photograph.

Gorgeous flat sandals are a very practical choice when one is to be married on a boat!

A few moments together before the ceremony.

Simple and sweet white lanterns help decorate the boat.

Sweet!

This photo has such a great Mod feel to it with the brickwork in the background.

Beautiful Summery colours and great patterns really pop against the white!

Such a unique and beautiful wedding! Congratulations Dani and Nick! We wish you both the very best in your life together!

A big thanks to Natasja from NK Photography for sharing her photos with us today!

FOR THE GROOM - Fritts Rosenow Bespoke Boutonnieres

A wedding is a chance for the groom to express his unique style too, so why not have him wear a bespoke boutonniere created especially for him.

Fritts Rosenow is the creation of Erin Rosenow a florist based in San Francisco who owns the successful Rosenow Floral Design . Her unique and quirky creations are a favourite in America & Canada, gracing the pages of numerous magazines and featuring in an impressive list of online wedding resources. And the exciting news is Erin will happily create something unique for Australian grooms, accepting international orders without any fuss.

Here are some of my favourites;

For more examples of Erins work visit Fritts Rosenow and have fun deciding whether your boy would be 'the outdoor club', or something 'vintage' or maybe even 'Sci=fi'. Enjoy.
