Portobello Bride Featured Wedding: Sian & Jarret by Janine Kaye Photography

Portobello Bride Member Janine from Janine Kaye Photography sent through some gorgeous images she took of the amazing wedding of Sian and Jarret [aka Napper] and we just had to share them with you!

One of the things they told me that was important about their day was that it represented “them”… and boy did it ever. From the beautiful ceremony site at the scout camp, to the relaxed restaurant reception at Crooked River Winery... it was the essence of them. - Janine Kaye

Sian's ruffled and textured dress is truly amazing!

Portobello Bride Featured Wedding: Kim & Chris by Janine Kaye Photography

There is always excitement when photos of a new wedding are received from one of our wonderful Portobello Bride Boutique Wedding Guide Members, but I [Amanda] must admit I was extra excited when I saw this wedding sent to me by Janine of Janine Kaye Photography as it turns out the Groom and I studied Graphic Design together!

Kim and Chris are a gorgeous couple, so sweet, genuine and down-to-earth and I am so pleased to see that comes across in their casual but elegant wedding. Both Kim and Chris are creative, she creates unique jewellery and he is a Graphic Designer, so there is no surprise that the details of this wedding are superb! I especially love the subtle rustic, Australiana vibe that underlies the event! Let's take a look at some of the fabulous images Janine captured:

Kim's beautifully casual bouquet of Australian native blooms.

Beautiful Summery bridesmaids and flower girl dresses.

The stunning bride! Kim chose a wedding dress that was similar in style to her late Mother's wedding dress.

The spunky groom!

Happy moments!

The soft colour of the bridesmaid's dresses compliments the earthy tones of this wedding superbly!

The couple were photographed at Little Austi beach and among some picturesque bushland.

Love this photo!

The simple and rustic charm of the cake is so beautiful! The native buds, sliced wood and hessian give such a wonderful earthy feel, and all done is such a refined way!

The dessert table was filled with sweet treats created from recipes from family and friends. A great personal touch!

Kim handmade the little up-side-down nests hanging in the tree above. They look so sweet among the fairy lights!

The outside area was marked off with a string of bunting which contained messages from their guests.

Congratulations Kim and Chris! May your lives together be filled with love, joy, friendship and creativity!

A big thank you to Janine from Janine Kaye Photography for sharing these images with us!

Portobello Bride Featured Wedding: Meegan & Glen by Janine Kaye Photography

The wedding of Meegan and Glen photographed by Janine Kaye Photography was held at the beautiful Silos Estate near Berry [2 hours south of Sydney]. The celebration is a gorgeous mix of sweet, casual and country-themed styling. There are so many lovely rustic touches. Take a look!

Love, love love the hay bale seating, the recycled bottles holding the flowers that line the aisle and the use of hessian sacks throughout the wedding!

The collections of vintage and found objects bring such a lovely charm to the day.

The wild wind may not be ideal for a wedding day, but how dynamic and beautiful are the photos above!?

The rich purple of the Bridesmaid's dresses are stunning! The no-tie open-collar shirts of the groomsmen is a great casual touch too!

How beautiful! A rainbow appears in the sky above the couple!

Such a gorgeous wedding! Congratulations Meegan and Glen! We wish you every happiness!
