Portobello Bride Real Wedding- Diana & Scott

Today's wedding which was captured by Meaghan Cook Photography Boutique is filled with all the beautiful elements I love about Australian weddings. Diana and Scott wanted a relaxed, fun and elegant wedding, which they achieved with a white colour palette and a pretty country setting.

Diana and Scott chose the idyllic town of Echuca for their wedding as they had a lot of guests travelling from Tasmania and some from other states. By having their wedding on the Friday, it also gave their guests the opportunity to make a weekend out of the celebrations before heading back home.

My favourite detail of the day as quoted on Meaghan's Photography Blog "I asked Diana if she wanted me to get those few bits of confetti out of her hair. 'Nah," she said. "They're part of the day." I Love it! What a perfect attitude, more brides need to be this relaxed and just love every detail of their day.

Radcliffe's was the chosen venue for the reception. With such a pretty setting the couple didn't need to decorate the room with large centrepieces, deciding instead to collect jars which were filled with sweet floral arrangements with wooden numbers which Diana made herself for guests to know where they were seated.

The beautiful white dessert buffet was a hit with the guests and brought a fun yet elegant detail to the reception.

Thank you Meaghan Cook Photography Boutique for sharing Diana and Scott's delightful wedding with us.

We wish Scott and Diana a life filled with sunshine and smiles like those that graced  their wedding day.
