Oh, these are lovely! I would love to win and host an afternoon tea in the garden under the trees to celebrate this beautiful Spring weather.
ReplyDeleteSweet! Boutique is simply gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteMy afternoon tea would be themed around the beautiful bright colours Juli has used in this range. Bright floral dresses, hats, bubbles and high tea in the garden under the plain tree with all my girlfriends...laughing and enjoying lifes small peasures.

Cake stands, gorgeous plates and flags makes me think of a long, leisurely high tea with the girls - a nice pink bubble and plenty of laughs. I have a friend with a beach box which would make a great venue - so perhaps a beach inspired theme with shoes off, bright umbrellas, beach balls - and sunshine!
ReplyDeleteId gather all my girlfriends round
ReplyDeleteAll dressed up in their prettiest frock
The table laid with vintage saucers and cups we had found
And platters fit for a lady from Sweet Treats stock!!
As banter fills the air, the earl grey would flow
But silence falls as I proudly present the stars of the show
Stacked high on my eco-platter proud as punch
What a feast for our eyes this tasty lunch
Fluffy cupcakes cocooned in their pretty cottage case
Macarons, slices and crustless sandwiches to suit everyone's taste
An afternoon filled with love and sweet treats
And the pop of suprise bottle of bubbles they brought for me!
So glad I arranged for us all to meet
Now please, a peppermint tea for this full belly!
The party host is Julie !

I'd have a tea party with my little Nelle (who's 3) ... We'd make cupcakes together and she would 'hatch' the eggs into the bowl and stir in the flour and sugar and butter and chocolate. And we'd lick the spoon, even though we know it's a little naughty. And when the cupcakes were baking, we'd set up for our party with all the gifted goodies - on a blanket on the deck. We'd make tea. And then we'd have our little party, just us girls.
ReplyDeleteI'd host a lazy afternoon tea all for me, lay a picnic rug out on the grass in the sun with a good book, having just baked a batch of my favourite totally indulgent brownies, arrange them beautifully on the gorgeous Sweet Boutique cake stand, pop a food flag in each piece and munch my way through... some secret selfish time, mmm heaven...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful products is the perfect excuse to gather my closet girlfriends to get creative in the kitchen. We will make our own cupcakes, mararoons, tarts...and lets not forget strawberries dipped in chocolate!
ReplyDeleteDressed up in gorgeous 1950's themed dresses, we'd go and have a summer outdoors picnic in the garden to enjoy our creations and have a good laugh.
Summer skies, flowers, butterflies and birds...everyone enjoying each others company with delicious desserts.

These are so pretty! One of my mother's favourite memories is having high tea at the Mandarin Oriental hotel in Bangkok so I would make here a wonderful afternoon tea so she could relive the expirience.
ReplyDeleteBeing an English gal, I would have a true Brittish style high tea, with my vintage lace table cloth, pretty cups & saucers (mis-matching for a touch of eccentricity!) and a vase of roses on the table.
ReplyDeleteThere would be pink champagne with strawberries and mint, my spotty tea-pot would be frequently replenished, and I would serve dainty sandwiches, and cupcakes on the fabulous Sweet! Treats platters & stands, with each cupcake being uniquely decorated.
There would be lots of pretty little flags dotted amongst them and pretty bunting around the room (or garden if the weather is nice to us!!).
Of course there would be many smiles & much laughter ♥
Beautiful items. I would use the cake stand for scones and mini tarts, food flags to label them and cake plate for the piece de resistance. Love doing these at home.

My wife likes all these types of things. I would do it for a day off because of all the childminding she does. The cake stand, food flags and cake plate would make it decorative and authentic experience.
