Portobello Bride Featured Wedding - International: Victoria & Graeme by Simon Fazackarley Photography

Many of us are experiencing  Royal wedding withdrawals so we thought we would share another beautiful British Wedding with you. The wedding of Victoria and Graeme was a 1920's inspired picnic style wedding full of amazing details and fun moments as captured by Photographer Simon Fazackarley. Let's take a peek:

Happy moments - this is what a wedding is all about!

Gorgeous, simple and very vintage table deco, old bottles, flowers and feathers.

Bunting, and lots of it make for a happy party. Oh and home made style cakes!

Of course at a 1920s inspired wedding one simply must dance the Charleston!

Portobello Bride Featured Wedding: Sonia & Gabe by Jonathan Ong

Photographer Jonathan Ong sent us an email recently to let us know about a wedding he had photographed. He described the couple, Sonia and Gabe as "A pretty cool couple; the "frankie" fit". This got us very excited and we were not disappointed! After viewing Sonia and Gabe's wedding we knew we just HAD to share it with you! We are honoured to be the first blog to feature the gorgeous wedding of Sonia and Gabe!

 Gorgeous gown and lavender heels!

What a brilliantly composed photo!

What's not to love about this couple's style? It's retro, and vintage, edgy and awesome! Love Gabe's specs!

The photo above has a great sense of drama about it! Love it!

The rich colours of the flowers look amazing in the moody lighting of the reception hall. Their free form arrangement looks fantastic against the white linen and classically styled menu [designed by Gabe himself - he's a Graphic Designer].

What a fun couple! Why not create your own first dance memories that are more suited to you as couple, just like Sonia and Gabe did!

Here are some of the details from Sonia and Gabe's wedding:
Wedding Dress - Oglia-loro Haute Couture
Flowers - Cecilia Fox
Ceremony - St Mary's Catholic Church, St Kilda East
Reception - The Substation
Catering - Blake's Feast

Congratulations Sonia and Gabe! We wish you both the very best in your lives together!
A big thank you to Jonathan Ong for sharing such a "Porotbello Bride Style" wedding! Keep up the amazing work!

Oh my, oh my, oh my! Get ready for something truly exciting!

One of the world's favourite brands Anthropologie has just [as in while we were sleeping] launched a new and totally amazing Wedding line called BHLDN!!

BHLDN (pronounced ‘beholden’, which means ‘to keep’ in Dutch) offers a full range of wedding fashion, jewellery, shoes, headpieces, stationery and more.

Looking through the range the word 'exquisite' keeps coming to mind. The fabrics and colours, variety of styles and obvious quality of the product is overwhelming - in the best possible way of course!

Perhaps the best part of it all is that the BHLDN range is available for shipping to Australia! That's right! See something you love? Well, you can have it sent straight to your door!

There are so many amazing items, you really must take a look at them for yourself on the BHLDN website.

FOR THE GROOM - Fritts Rosenow Bespoke Boutonnieres

A wedding is a chance for the groom to express his unique style too, so why not have him wear a bespoke boutonniere created especially for him.

Fritts Rosenow is the creation of Erin Rosenow a florist based in San Francisco who owns the successful Rosenow Floral Design . Her unique and quirky creations are a favourite in America & Canada, gracing the pages of numerous magazines and featuring in an impressive list of online wedding resources. And the exciting news is Erin will happily create something unique for Australian grooms, accepting international orders without any fuss.

Here are some of my favourites;

For more examples of Erins work visit Fritts Rosenow and have fun deciding whether your boy would be 'the outdoor club', or something 'vintage' or maybe even 'Sci=fi'. Enjoy.

Fridays Fabulous Feature-Maggie & Sparrow

What a wonderful wedding gift to give, if you are reading this and getting married you must hint to all your Aunties for one of these. Beautiful modern hand made quilts by Maggie & Sparrow. A gift that will keep on giving newlyweds warmth, comfort and toasty memories (they can then pass it on to their daughter one day!).

Maggie & Sparrow are situated on a vineyard, surrounded by magpies and sparrows (hence the companies sweet name) where designer and creator Kathryn Elizabeth Brain spends her days designing and creating these absolutely gorgeous one of a kind quilts, and other patchwork goodies, whilst playing amongst the vines with her little girl Lulu and happy winemaking husband.
